As the year comes to a close, it's a good time to summarize the year and make a forecast for 2024. This year, we achieved a growth of over 25%, which, combined with the 30% growth we achieved in 2022, will allow us to end the year with a record-breaking export and a total figure that is nearly equivalent.
This significant number is largely driven by strong growth in the US and Mexican markets. Alongside the spectacular performance in Brazil in 2022, it will enable us to achieve an unprecedented figure on the American continent. In Europe, noteworthy developments include France consolidating as a reference market, an upturn in Turkey, as well as measures taken in Denmark, the Netherlands, and Romania.
All of this is the result of our company's vision to respond to market demands and continue being the global benchmark for performance and quality in surface finishing machines for over 50 years. The surface finishing machines developed by CEVISA are a "must-have" and a perfect complement for wind tower manufacturers, especially in the offshore sector, bridge manufacturers, service centers, and more. 80% of these machines are tailored to meet each customer's specific needs, and the result is clearly an incredible acceptance. Currently, everything we produce is sold before we even complete the production and assembly of the machines. This has forced us to increase our production capacity by investing heavily in our machine park in recent years and expanding our production department by hiring more employees.
The past few years have been a great challenge for us, not only due to COVID but also other difficulties. However, we have successfully overcome them, filling us with absolute optimism as we look to the near and not-so-distant future.
